Lisbon, the luminous capital of Portugal, enchants everyone with its unique blend of history, culture and modernity. On the banks of the Tagus river, the city reveals stunning architecture, where the colorful tiles and cobbled streets tell stories of centuries gone by. As you stroll through the traditional neighborhoods such as Alfama and Mouraria, fado echoes in the narrow alleys, bringing a sweet melancholy, which is the city's trademark. Be sure to explore the viewpoints, where panoramic views of the river and the red roofs will leave unforgettable memories. In Lisbon, every corner is an invitation to discover a new treasure.
We are close to the city's main tourist attractions, such as São Jorge Castle, which is just a 15-minute walk away (950 m). Classified as a National Monument since 1910, it stands in a dominant position on the highest hill in the historic center, offering visitors one of the most beautiful views of the city and the Tagus river. Leaving the Castle, walk down to Graça (750 m from Casa Moniz), one of Lisbon's favorite neighborhoods. There you will find two of the many viewpoints scattered around Lisbon: Miradouro da Graça, also called Miradouro Amália Rodrigues, and Miradouro Nossa Senhora do Monte, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city!

Just a 4-minute walk away from Casa Moniz (180 m), you'll find Mouraria, one of Lisbon's most authentic neighborhoods. The birthplace of Fado, it has had its sad days, but today it's a must visit for anyone who wants to get to know the real Lisbon. Climb up the São Cristóvão stairs or the Escadas da Saúde (mechanical escalators) and lose yourself in the alleys of this charming neighborhood. Known as the birthplace of Fado, about a 10-minute walk from Casa Moniz (900 m), Alfama is Lisbon's most typical medieval neighborhood. Don't miss the Portas do Sol and Santa Luzia viewpoints with their beautiful tiles and bougainvilles, next to each other with the most beautiful view of the houses in the neighborhood and the Tagus river in the background.
